Rules & Regulations

As-Salaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.

We thank you for choosing the Pristine Public School to mould your child’s character and personality. We welcome you and your child to the PPS family. We wish to inform you regarding the following rules of the school and request your complete compliance and adherence to these rules:-

    • School timings:
      Nursery - 8:30 am to 12:30 am
      Jr KG - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
      Sr KG - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
      Grade 1 to Grade 10 - 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
    • Weekly Holidays: The school will be closed on Second Saturday and Sundays.
    • The School will remain closed on those days which are notified by the Government. And will be intimated to the parents through the diary of the student
    • Being absent on school days is discouraged. If your child is absent due to an emergency, you should fill the absence record in the calendar stating the reason and should be signed only by you. Attending the 1st day of school after the vacations is compulsory. If any unavoidable absence from school is planned 
      it should be sanctioned by the school management well in advance.
    • Parents should not send their child to school if he/she is suffering from contagious diseases like conjunctivitis, chicken pox, mumps, Swine Flu, etc. till he/she is certified by the doctor as “fit to attend school and non infectious”.
    • Insha’Allah the PTA meetings will be held for both fathers and mothers twice a year to discuss the child’s performance in the first and second term exams respectively. Both the parents’ attendance is
      compulsory. Date would be informed to you by way of a circular for new academic year.
    • Monthly school fees should be paid on or before the10th of each month. School fees for the months of March April and May should be paid by 10th March, due to the summer vacations. The 1st term & June fees should be paid by 10th April and 2nd term fees should be paid by 10th December. If
      the monthly school fees are not paid by the due date, then your child will not be allowed to attend the school classes.
    • Any enquiry related to your child or the school should only be made with the class teacher of your child during the appointed day of the week
    • No enquiry of any sort should be made at the reception or with anyone else besides the class teacher. The Management is not responsible for any information given to you except that given by the class teacher and the Principal/Management by way of a circular.
    • Please take note that no enquiries should be made on the telephone / mobile phone of the staff or with security guards or helpers. The management is not responsible for any such information requested on the telephone or through other employees, besides the teachers.
    • The student should reach the respective class on time
    • If the student arrives later than the school timing on more than one occasion in a month, a fine of Rs. 5/- will be charged.
    • The Students of Nursery to 2nd std. will only be given to the person who shows the Pick-up card. Without the Pick-up card these students will not be allowed to leave the school.
    • The student should be picked up within 20 minutes from the time the school ends from the respective class.
    • Please ensure that your child’s nails are cut once a week. The boys hair should always be short. There will be an inspection of the same every Monday.
    • Parents should not be accompanied by their children when they attend the Islamic programs and the PTA meetings.
    • Please send a bottle of water with your child’s name and class mentioned on it along with your child daily. The quantity should be such that it is sufficient for the entire schooling hours for your child.
    • The audio CD of the recitation of the Qur’an by Shaikh Abdul Rahman As-Sudais should be heard at home as often as possible and preferably daily.
    • Parents should ensure that their child wears the school uniform from the first day of school (Only late new admissions will be excused for the 1st week of school). The school uniform worn should be according to the specifications laid down by the school. If it deviates from the specifications, the child will not be allowed to attend school the next day unless it is rectified.
    • Please ensure that your child carries only those books required for the day as per the schedule in the time table.
    • If the required books are not brought as per the time table on more than two occasions in a month, then a fine of Rs. 10/- will be charged on every occasion the child doesn’t get the books in that month.
    • Parents should check their children’s school diary daily and duly acknowledge with their signature any circular or note from the school.
    • Please ensure that the lunch you provide to your child is nutritious and does not contain any processed foods like potato chips, wafers, fried snacks, etc.
    • Your child will be Insha’Allah taken for an educational excursion once a month. The same will Insha’Allah be informed to you by way of a circular.
    • The timings for the first day of school will be from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm.
    • Thereafter the timings will be from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm.
